Volunteering

Volunteering opportunities are available within our organisation:

  1. Toy Library – by joining the Committee or volunteering your time during opening hours 10-12pm Tuesdays & Saturday mornings.
  2. Occasional Childcare – Working with children check required prior to commencement Hours  Mon, Tues & Wed 9.15-2.15pm & Thurs 9.15-12.15pm
  3. Administration – learn valuable work skills by offering assistance in our busy Office. Opening hours:  Monday to Thursday 9.00-4.00pm.
  4. Community Projects - join one of our many community projects such as the community markets, community kitchen programs,  or any program of the House that you can offer support or expertise- You’re very welcome indeed!
  5. Committee of Management – Join our committee of management team to drive and support the direction of our not for profit organisation.  Office bearing positions available annually during the Annual General Meeting (held in April).

It is a policy of the House that all volunteers are to have an up-to-date (within 6 months), or are willing to undergo,  a Police Check. If you request to work within one of our programs that involve children, then a Working with Children check will also be required.
