Becoming a member is a great way to become more involved and support our services and programs. Membership costs $7 per year and we will send you an invoice. You will be able to pay by direct deposit or over the phone.

Membership expires after 1year, renewable on 24th May of the relevant calendar year. The renewal form will be given to each member with their notification of the AGM.

The Membership Entrance fee and annual subscription is $7, which entitles members to vote at the AGM and receive House updates.

Membership information is kept in a Members Register available in the office for inspection by members only. This information will only be used by the House for House purposes and in keeping with Privacy legislation requirements.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of West Footscray Neighbourhood House, as stated in our Constitution, are:
  • Provide learning, social and recreational services of the highest standard to all members of the West Footscray and neighbouring communities.
  • Provide services to children and their families which support children to reach their full potential.
  • Foster inclusion by removing barriers to participation for disadvantaged members of the community, with the aim of improving their economic independence, social interaction and emotional wellbeing.
  • Promote community development through information, support, learning and participation, which encourages community members to make informed choices about the issues that concern them.

    MISSION

    West Footscray Neighbourhood House Inc. will facilitate opportunities for community strengthening and transformation.

    The House will engage dynamically with the community to ensure a service that is responsive to the diversity of our local needs and issues.

    We acknowledge our particular mission to the West Footscray community but also to those living in other neighborhoods in the City of Maribyrnong.
